Hypertension
Hypertension is a common condition in which the long-term force of blood against the artery wall is high enough to cause health problems, such as heart disease. It can lead to severe health complications and increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and sometimes death.
CAD
Coronary artery disease is the buildup of plaque in the arteries that supply oxygen-rich blood to your heart. Plaque causes a narrowing or blockage that could result in a heart attack. Symptoms include chest pain or discomfort and shortness of breath. Treatments include lifestyle changes and medications that target your risk factors and/or possibly surgery.
Chest pain
Chest pain is not something to ignore. However, you should be aware that there are many possible causes for this. It is often related to the heart. However, chest pain can also be caused by, for example, problems with the lungs, esophagus, muscles, ribs, or nerves. Some of these conditions are serious and life-threatening.
Congestive Heart Failure
Heart failure does not mean that the heart has stopped working. Rather, it means that the heart is not working more efficiently than usual. Several possible causes slow the movement of blood and increase pressure in the heart. As a result, the heart cannot supply enough oxygen and nutrients to meet the body's needs.
Dyslipidemia
Dyslipidemia is defined as having blood lipid levels that are too high or low. Blood lipids are fatty substances, such as triglycerides and cholesterol.
Cholesterol
Cholesterol is fat used by the body that is produced by the body and is also obtained from animal foods. The important numbers to know are total cholesterol, HDL or good cholesterol, LDL or bad cholesterol, and triglycerides.
